The Red Light District is situated in the oldest historical part of Amsterdam, containing coffee shops, smart shops, and of course ‘the oldest profession’, and now offers promising fashion designers the chance to present their creations from ‘behind the window’.

Red Light Fashion is a current project of the Amsterdam City Council offering a varied menu of hip couture, street wear, and shoes. We offer a walking tour with an art historian and a fashion specialist as your guide in this dynamic district. We will also see  art in public space, art galleries and visit the ‘Zeedijk’ street with its interesting fashion outlets.

Starting point: At the top of the Zeedijk (the point closest to the Central Station).
